The Altered Carbon books were great, season 1 of the netflix show was a reasonably good adaptation of the first book but it had a bunch of unnecessary shit added by the showrunners.
I never watched season 2 because I don’t like the nigger protagonist (even though it’s book accurate), and I had no idea they made a 3rd season.
Would highly recommend the books if you’re a fan of sci-fi/cyberpunk.

Yea. In most things for sure. I think they’ve toned it down a bit since October 7th, but I’m sure they’ll be rolling it all back out before long in movies. I also think in that movie they just used Bill Skarsgård to sell tickets. He was really good in Nosferatu. I thought that movie was pretty awesome. Robert Eggers puts out some good stuff. We’ll see how this Werwulf movie coming out Christmas this year will be.
Eggers is a class act (for now). He said in an interview that he will never make films about the modern world because the modern world is disgusting. So unless someone convinces him to pepper his period piece with historically inaccurate blacks, his films will be all White.

I found the problem with comics, after about 1990, is that so many people collected them, that there is a huge glut and things like a bagged X-Force #1 are basically worthless, unless you have the Deadpool card.
People started really collecting and bagging comics, en masse, in the early 80s, so they need to be older than that, to be worth some coin.
