Saw Resident Evil over the weekend and it was a great popcorn movie. “Dumbass who finds himself in absurd horror scenario” is a tone Cregger absolutely kills. Made it feel like playing a survival horror game, but with tons of comedic beats. Did a good job depicting the body horror aspect of the franchise, as well.
