Just call them the Yemeni government. Saying “Ansarullah” or “Houthis” is basically like calling them an unofficial militia or something. They’re the government, not a militia.

Just a quick correction from P&B, you mentioned that Daniel Haqiqitajou converted to Sunni Islam from Shia Islam. He actually came from an irreligious non practicing family but “was guided to Islam” by Sunni “da’wah” missionaries. So technically he was never a Shia Muslim by a practicing standpoint.

No, the drone-dropped mortar bombs are definitely not guided. Just very impressive work by Ansar-Allah. I’m sure Saudi military competence (lol) plays a role, but no, just very skilled operators is my take.

The thing that I find the hardest to understand, I’m sure I’m not alone (and surely it’s by design) is how Hezbollah are getting armaments and ammunition. I want to recall they have on more than one occassion been caught with Russian weapons. Very nice if true but am I totally out of line?
