It was actually the time I discovered TRS. With the gyms closed I was jogging a lot and always looking for different podcasts to listen to. Came across an episode of I Don’t Speak German with those fat faggots alogging the NJP’s 25-point plan, and I knew I’d stumbled onto something special.
The only thing I didn’t like about Covid was the fact I couldn’t visit my dad the hospital when he was dying. Other than that it was amazing.

I watched the first of the new MK movies, and all I remember (other than thinking it was shit) was how ADD the editing was. There wasn’t a single shot that lasted more than a few seconds, I was actually counting by the second half. The 90’s movie was at least fun.
Movies based off 90’s videogames are all kind of trash purely due to the games themselves being heavily inspired by 80’s movies, so they’re all just indirect remakes of Aliens in a way.
The Raiden they are referring to is Metal Gear Solid
The casting of the Australian guy for Kano in 95 must have resonated. Because the lore never suggested he was Australian but they made him in the 95 movie and it stuck.
IIRC he was originally meant to be Japanese but because of Trevor Goddard’s portrayal of him and his later suicide (in his note he confessed he was a Brit who lied about being Aussie oddly enough) they made him Aussie out of respect

Didn’t watch Backrooms but Obsession didn’t hit with me at all. Hokum was great, probably best movie of the year.
