I’ve been following Kane Parsons since he put out the first backrooms short in 2022 when he was 16. he’s legit a one in a million talent, head and shoulders above curry barker. you can go back before the backrooms shorts and watch his progress as he learned how to do the technical filmmaking stuff. doubt he’s a jew but who knows

Curry Barker is jewish? I mean would make sense that his film would be shilled hard. I checked his early life and it does not say he’s a jew nor have I found anything just googling it.
there’s a thousand things to praise about it as Kane Parsons seminal(lol) film but the ASPECT I haven’t seen anyone talk about is his discernment as a filmmaker. he had humility to not insist on writing the script by himself when backrooms got the greenlight(he was 16 mind you), but, between his input on the story and his directing choices, the movie fits in perfectly with the atmosphere and continuity of his web series which he did almost completely by himself. the YouTube shorts were immediately successful enough for him to hire people to help and play around with a… Read more »
