You know who also hails from Nyack? The painter Edward Hopper. Used to be a very nice town in the 90s. Like two blocks of some kind of subsidized housing, not even pjs, and then just nice. No orthodox to my recollection, just more secular (ofc well-to-do) jews and not in particularly high proportion. Didn’t live there, but close enough to have some friends from it.
