re: the media player, I can confirm that it performs very differently on different connections using the same device and browser/configuration. Changing VPN location might help a bit but the biggest difference I’ve seen is on a different service provider. It would make sense if this issue is affecting your guy’s uploads and causing file corruption etc too (especially on bigger videos).
Not a web guy so I have no idea how to fix it but for my fellow users you might have better luck watching on mobile data connection instead of your home ISP or vice versa.

Jesse, the drum is sagging. Take the panel off and check the roller. Plastic pulley that tensions the belt. If thats good pull out the drum and check the drum rollers at the back of the drum.
If the wobble or are looked replace them all.
Its an inexpensive repair but do all at once.
