You are correct about racialism in the US being co-opted by right wing conservatives. The socialist movement in the late 19th and early 20th centuries were explicitly “racist”. Leaders like Dennis Kearny and writers like Jack London are an example.
I’ve come to realize that as a National Socialist I have virtually nothing in common with rural, “muh big truck”, god and country white conservatives except for their implicit racial views. Which they are mostly too cowardly to even discuss in private let alone act upon.

What they are saying is essentially
1. Kirk was evidently killed as part of some military and intelligence operation.
