The reason the US just used the B-1B Lancer is.. the US friend or foe network has been completely compromised by Iran with Russian tech. 3 F-15s were shot down “by accident” by one Kuwaiti F-18, his radar said the US planes were drones, and the F-15s didn’t evade as their HUD said the missile launches were telemetry data, not missiles. The B-1 Lancer was a high altitude supersonic bomber, it wasn’t produced as such because the Russian AA missiles could shoot them down, thus the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber.
The Lancer is used instead for terrain following high speed low altitude bombing at 100 feet.
The only reason you would use this aircraft is because the enemy can see your stealth aircraft on radar now, also it’s hard to hit the B-1 as it’s so low missiles don’t work, and too fast for MANPAD or AA tracking guns.
