Stocks and commodoties shorting doesn’t work the same way. If you own a futures contract on a commodity, and you don’t sell that contract to someone else, then you have to take possession of that commodity. Commodities are real, stocks are valuation on paper.

With that said it is possible they might re-brand or even reform this part of the empire in the future.
