The “Yeah, you said you’re Catholic, but are you Christian?” thing has aggravated the hell out of me ever since I was, like, 10 years old. I’m not particularly religious, but I never got how people got tripped up by that. My buddy’s wife, bless her soul, told me flat out “No, Catholics aren’t Christian” one night when he and I were arguing something about Jews. Wanted to rip my hair out.
