My wife school and my work (union carpenter that works outside) have been canceled all week. We’ve had sub zero wind chills all week, I’ve been able to stay how with my 6 month old son all week.

I priced out snowblowers for this storm. Straight up not worth it. You can get kids and guys on facebook with snowblowers and plows for like $50.
also dang mike you aint gotta turn it down to 80. you can keep it at 100 NP. Those lids and that insulation are solid. turn it up. It will take days to cool down even in this weather. By electrician they mean 240v. What sorta jerry rigged set up are you using??

I was going to buy one off Facebook marketplace for $250 used but I couldn’t pick it up before the storm.
about as cheap as it gets. i just ended up finding a guy with a plow. $50. happens once or twice a year here. buying doesn’t make sense for me.
