The Avatar movies are actually good. And you could try and draw some political message like the noble savage or “white savior-ism”, but any message is so thin in the actual movie that you could make up any narrative you want and point out reasons why it’s valid. Frankly the only messages that are strong are “ZOG/American Imperialism is bad” and “Environmentalism is good”, both things I strongly agree with.
Plus the 3D is pretty.

You allowed to throw “noble savage” stuff in the garbage if you are depicting Europeans. Case in point, depictions of Medieval Europe and Iron Age Northern Europe, you can make them as cartoonishly primitive as you want and no one will bat an eye. These cartoonish depictions are also related to when Jews “we wuzing” with them bragging about how “cultured” and “civilized” they were while Europeans were “wearing blue paint LOL!”

The original star wars movies are crap. Jesse just loves them because of nostalgia. If you watch them objectively they are literally just as bad as the prequels.
I liked the prequels as a kid for the flashy lightsaber battles. I won’t be rewatching them ever. Those movies will remain a happy memory, and you cannot stop me. Plus “duel of the fates” is a good song to this day.
When I was dating my ex, she told me she’s never seen Star Wars. After watching the trilogy, she wanted to watch the prequels despite me telling her not to bother.
We watched Phantom Menace and she never asked to watch the rest.
They were literally stolen from the samurai movies of Akira Kurosawa, Dune and Joseph Campbell’s Hero With A Thousand Faces, all three masterpieces, so it can’t be bad until George Lucas took a shit on them with his stupid remasters.
The memes from the prequels + Plinkett reviews have given me far more entertainment than the original trilogy to be fair

You guys should watch the new Nuremberg movie with Russel Crowe. They brought out “never before seen holocaust footage” and it’s obviously shot with a modern camera and modern audio. In some regards they accidentally make Goring the hero, a great statesman, and complex. But obviously they slander, lie, blatantly change parts of the story, cut major parts of the trial.
I would watch a 3 hour Mike Check of watching the movie and shitting on it. Honestly since the well of Holocaust horror stories is running dry, Hollywood Holocaust propaganda commentaries could replace it as there’s no shortage of those.

John Williams is a good composer and Duel of the fates is the only redeeming parts from the prequels.
