Conservatives will see hospital bills for over 10k for a single birth and smugly say “dON’t HaVe kIdS iF yOu CaN’t AfFoRd iT”

It would be moral to take a 12 gauge shotgun, point it at their faggot beer bellies, and just blast a hole right through them. That’s what conservatives deserve

By “back the blue” they are referring to their bedsores on their ass because their nigger nursing home workers take 4 hour breaks and sleep the rest of the shift.

How can you not mention beast wars when bringing up 90s transformers mcnabb? Great show otherwise. 90s had like no don bluth films until 2000 gave us titan AE. Also Jim Carey was huge in the 90s.

I never liked Seinfeld. Mike probably did though and is lying as usual.

The thing about television was that everyone was watching it at the same time. There was no binge watching a streaming service.

I remember I got a figure of Christopher Walken as the headless horseman from K.B. Toys as a kid. His head could come off and be replaced with a skull, and came with two severered heads that he held by the hair (plus a bloody axe) Pretty gory for an 8 year old but man I loved it to death.

There was one in Maine near where my cousins lived. The whole town smelled weird. I wouldn’t say it was a bad smell, just weird. Probably depends on the kind of paper they’re making.

I like that Sven mentioned Breadfan, that instrumental in the middle of that song still hits. Mandatory Metallica or Metallica moments weekdays at 6 pm at your rock station for deep cuts is late 90’s early 2000’s as it gets.

I listened to all the music from KXTE 107.5 from Las Vegas from 1996 to 2003. 1990’s rock is top tier and anyone that says different is wrong and possibly gay. Creed sucked in the late 90’s but it feels good when I hear it now, sorry.

That’s funny that clear channel was a conservative boogeyman because all of the gutter punk garbage has a bug up their ass about clear channel being this evil monopoly destroying the music industry. Which they did suck. But I think the internet changed that. MySpace music was really big after the 90’s but it was sort of the birth of democratized music, which began the content overload era imo.

I am watching old Buffalo Bills games starting in 1988 and I plan to stop at 1996(I am at 1993) because it is Jim Kelly’s last year and the football and the commercials are better. I am a year younger than McNabb and the 1990’s were better than every decade that succeeded it, America’s corpse was still warm and could be dragged around Uncle Bernie’s style and pass scrutiny.

Edit: I used proceeded instead succeeded because I am dumb.

That sounds cozy af. I grew up in a Packers house, but I came to appreciate those Bills teams when I got older. That K Gun offense was the truth. And Steve Tasker is one of my favorite players of all time. Small white guy who was an absolute murderer on special teams. Great stuff.

On these Bills team one of the best players was Jim Ritcher at left guard. To prevent pinch nerve injuries in his neck his helmet was strapped to the back of his shoulder pads so he could not move his head, so to look around he had to turn his waist like Batman 1989. He was an American Airlines pilot for 25 years after football.

I’m kinda surprised McNabb didn’t mention the rise of Weeb and kids getting obsessed with crappy Japanese slob that started in the 90s. In the early 90s, it was Power Rangers and then in the late 90s, it was Pokémon. It’s hilarious how Pokémon was like a shitty 80s cartoon preserved in amber and looked extremely out of place when compared to other stuff on the air at the same time like Batman Beyond. Weeb shit peaked in the aughts to the sheer horror of every grade school art teacher who had to deal with a population taught by crappy… Read more »

Hey that’s me! I was one of those early anime adopters, one of my friend’s older brother ordered those anime thing that were advertised in that commercial on MTV and a gew other places. It was like Akira and I forget all what else, I really liked Akira. And the one local weird video store where I could rent chop sockey Kung Fu flicks started having the anime and the local comic shop. It was like me and these three skater kids one of whomst was a bug-black.

To be fair, I’m not talking about Akira and Hayao Miyazaki stuff. I’m talking the mass marketed slop that took America by storm especially in 1999. Ironically even without 9/11, the collapse of boy bands and the decline of Pokémon’s popularity is a good marker between the end of the 90s and the beginning of the aughts.

“Parents letting their kids watch things they shouldn’t” Growing up my parents let me play Conker’s Bad Furday and other raunchy and gory games. Good times honestly. The argument that parents should be mindful of what they let their kids get into is something I can sympathize with but that obviously doesn’t pertain to harmful stuff like porn that should be outright destroyed.
