Walmart + is far better than Amazon. I get my dry goods delivered, shop the local supermarket for meat/veg. That way, I don’t have to wade through the hoards of creek shitters and mystery meat that infest the local Walmart.

In America I’ve always heard blockhead used to refer to stupid/ignorant people without any ethnic connotations.
My wife was on COBRA because she quit an old job for a better one, and the benefits didn’t start until 30 days. Instead of risk going without insurance we spent the $500 for it.
COBRA messed up and billed us for 3 months, and we had no way of refuting it without having to pay out of pocket for her doctors appointments during that month. So we got charged $1500 so she could have insurance for like 3 weeks.
No matter how much you hate this country, it isn’t enough.

It used to be way more difficult to get parts, materials, etc, from small, local shops. But now, you may as well go through a local shop – they have access to warehouses and catalogs with half-decent stuff. Amazon is a plastic-crap algorithm. Very difficult to find any quality. And if it takes more than 5 days to get it, yeah, just go to the locally owned whatever. If you live in the sticks like me, make your stupid weekly “run to town” (40 minutes away)
