As someone who goes to a hardcore show in the city every other week at the least, I can confirm I have never downloaded a single hardcore album on my phone to actually listen to.

Finally finished the episode. You are indeed old man yelling at cloud; Crypt Sermon is great. They are definitely not reinventing the wheel, and the general critique of throwback style bands is valid, but they are talented guys making good music, period. You mentioned being a fan of Dark Tranquillity and melodeath before. Speaking of (the now sadly late) Tompa Linberg, have you heard At The Gates’ debut album The Red In The Sky Is Ours? It takes a couple of listens for it to click, but when it does, it’s some of the best death metal around.
It’s also the Brett Stevens approved album, and after all, the most important part about music is liking the albums that have the seal of approval from obscure verbose elitists on the internet.

I believe regular vaccinations work for real serious diseases like polio etc. But from my personal anecdotes I seen the covid shoot did shit all except have serious side effects. Every single person in my life that got the covid shoot got it after they already had covid and never got sick with covid again or still got covid after the shoot.
