Hezbollah says it’ll ignore the disarmament plan, but I could see Israel/America using the Lebanese Army to reignite a civil war. Luckily the state is so incompetent they’d have to rely on external manpower to even try. They can’t even run a bank, yet Hezbollah can.
Hezbollah could try to peacefully merge with the state, but Lebanon gives (and actually enforces) outsize constitutional power to Christians and Sunnis, so they could try to ban Hezbollah politically next.
Ideally the Shia in Lebanon and Syria could form their own state, but the bloodshed would be even more of a convenient territorial doormat for Israel—look at Syria.
These Sykes-Picot states have no future, but the challenge is finding some way for Shia to get sovereignty without also giving Israel the fragmentation it wants. It’s a shame the United Arab Republic didn’t work and we got Israel’s balkanization of Arabs and Scofield Sunnism instead.

Not really. More that he is shilling the “whites only” town concept and has a slew of guests on that have terrible takes he doesn’t push back on. The other day he had on Henrik who was pushing an anti-Russia line and Mark just nodded along basically. Henrik was doing the standard “they are anti-nazi and pro mass migration, anti-racist, anti-colonialist.” It is a very unsophisticated view of the Russian state, history and actual attitudes. Cut Mark some slack as he was recently just banned from the EU.
I love Mark, but the anti-Islam stuff is a landmine that would contribute to him being banned. Tommy Robinson exists purely to get right wingers to fall into that trap, but unlike Tommy Mark doesn’t have fed buddies to consistently bail him out.
I do, I just think he would likely be better to relocate to somewhere safe and try to be the figurehead from afar like Lenin than try to pussyfoot around everything and end up just nodding along to every lame take and promoting whites-only communities as a solution in Britain when it is obvious that active resistance is not only the real solution but increasingly happening.
