Gonna have to ACKTUALLY Sven here, but starting a few years ago, most US pro sports teams started putting advertisements on their uniforms now. They’re certainly a bit more tasteful than the soccer jerseys referenced, but there’s something blasphemous to me about shitting up iconic uniforms like the Yankees which haven’t changed in over a century with ads
They have advertisements on their jersey in Basketball and baseball. It’s not as big as the soccer jerseys
Advertising on “football jerseys” came in with the triumph of neoliberalism in the late 1980s/early 1990s. Prior to that it was considerably a less commercialized sport. Soccer has shirt sponsorships because there are fewer ways to sell advertising as the game doesn’t stop except at half time so you can’t sell a TV advert every few minutes like the NFL can. The shirts sold to kids do have the option of coming without the sponsors logo BUT most kids want the same shirt that their favourite players wear and most parents will cave in and buy the “real” shirt for little Timmy…

One of those bougie White people things was pick-your-own fruit orchards. The last time I went to one of those it was about 35% beaner, 35% pajeet, and among the “white” portion there was a generous sprinkling of homos and trannies.
I used to live near Cleveland and I never heard or knew anything about those guardian statues until the name change. To this day I’m still not sure what or where they are. I was at a game last season and still saw lots of Indians shirts, and the niggers outside the stadium were selling that merch instead of stuff with Guardians logo (probably because they know what actually sells).
It wouldn’t surprise me if someday they ban people from wearing Chief Wahoo merch inside the stadium
