Breaking solidarity with Sven. Ice Climber was always a bad game even back then, it controlled like ass and it wasn’t complex enough to justify getting good at it. Dozens of other NES games you could make an argument for, even other traditionally “bad” games that I’d rather play like Zelda 2 or Castlevania 2, but not Ice Climber.
Ice Climber always came with for free when renting the NES – so kind of them. I don’t even remember what other games we rented, it’s been a while..
Zelda 2 is an amazing game.
