I feel like the term “AI” is becoming the new “woke”, in that it’s a buzzword used by people who can’t define or explain something but they know they don’t like it. I see a lot of AI complaints that are something computers have been doing for decades using some sort of traditional algorithm, and it’s always something that everyone has always hated but now retarded normies have a word for it and they’ll overuse it as much as possible.
They intentionally renamed LLM to AI to confuse the issue.

I think people who don’t understand the inner workings of A.I. would be better off not talking about it, because it simply serves as a canvas for morons to project their dumb ideas and insecurities onto. (Not you guys, but most people in general). It just makes everyone who latches onto this appear as flippant and grifters who need some sensationalist low-hanging fruit to stay afloat.
PCM = Pulse Code Modulation It’s the standard digital-analog conversion format for audio. It’s a lossless format. While DAC is an acronym, it’s colloquially and phonetically just called a “dack”. If the constant hissing and popping didn’t give it away, vinyl has really bad audio quality, relatively speaking. When people refer to preferring “vinyl sound”, they’ll usually referring to the warmer mixing and warmer playback that vinyl’s receive (vinyl releases often receive their own mix). The mix is (almost) always more important then the medium. It used to be that with vinyl you were pretty much guaranteed to have a good mix, but that hasn’t been true since the modern (or I guess over a decade old at this point) resurgence. Now studios will just slap whatever shitty CD mix they have lying around on a vinyl and call it a day.
I’d rather listen to a well mixed mp3 then a shitty vinyl with no dynamic range.
vinyl physically couldn’t have “loudness war” style limiting/high volume. That’s what people like about it. Music was mixed/mastered for vinyl, so people thought the good sound was due to the vinyl itself.
100% my wise Interweb fake friend and also-musician & audio engineering enjoyer! It’s pretty much impossible to use loudness-war techniques (or older/original ones) when making a master for vinyl. If you make that for-vinyl-master yourself or see what the mastering engineer does with the EQ curve, that too reveals much. EDM, Hip Hop and related genre artists will recoil in horror.
