I know it’s an Israeli company, but driving with Waze on Apple CarPlay or Android Auto is extremely helpful. Waze warns you about cops ahead and vehicles on the side of the road, and traffic conditions in general. I’m pretty sure Waze isn’t doing a granular level spyware thing on me yet, given the number of K-bombs I drop while driving and listening to the radio.

That’s a good emergency call experience. Everytime I’ve called 911 or the police they pretend like they couldn’t hear me and can’t figure out where I am and they ask my address (also i want to say “can’t you guys just trace me please”) and they don’t even know the pidonk roads I’m on when i tell them. It always feels like pulling teeth talking to these guys.
You can absolutely prank call 911 with impunity. Their supposed ability to “trace” your location was always BS used to scare people into not prank calling 911. So go ahead and prank call 911 today. There’s nothing they can do about it.
