I’m not sure what you mean by Metallicsa not playing the blue note. It’s all over Enter Sandman and most of Metallica’s best songs.
I’ve been kicking myself for not being able to complete songs. Workflow is part of the problem and also that my drummer wants to record his own stuff, which is cool, but that shit is hard and he doesn’t want to use a click. So basically I have to complete demos, record drums and then re-record everything. Plus lyrics are a bitch.
Huge Alice in chains fan, grew up in the Seattle area. The first 7 songs on Facelift are in the heavy vein and the tenth and the last track, it’s just 3 filler tracks from their early days tracks 8,9,11… Point of privilege
track 6 love hate love probably the heaviest on that album…
Why they snuck know something about you into that album idk, the intro sounds like a red hot chili peppers song..
