The laughter should be bigger at smaller countries because not only are they occupied, but their independence is not plausible in the first place. The crowd starts laughing a Luxembourg and Lichtenstein for a reason.

World Almanacs from the WW2 era are great resources on what really happened. I have 1935 and there’s a few pages completely laying out all of the laws pertaining to jews in the 3rd Reich. They were super soft compared to what is taught.

Henry Ford had some good commentary in his autobiography on venture capital and what’s now called “blitzscaling”.

Apparently there was a very similar environment in the late 1800s through the 1920s, of companies looking for a grift to attract investment from more established industries like railroads.

I think Jimmy Dore p I’m saying you was care. He has an excellent 30 minute video explaining why the Ukraine Russia conflict happened. It’s a great video to share with people. If you want to explain to someone very shortly. He has a good team that does their research, and presents very good sources. Sources. Yeah he’s a little stupid when it comes to covid and a couple of other topics but he’s much better than the absolute majority of pundits out there today.

I literally listened to myles power podcasts and other similar stuff before I got into racism. It’s like my podcast life has come full circle when y’all make fun of pseudoscience retards.

Also, look up World of Batshit on YouTube. It’s just a handful of 10 year old videos, but they’re pretty amusing.

As the boomer/gen x conservative lobbies institutional power to get foreign “high skilled” labor handed to him, it’s the personal responsibility of high-skilled White men to get the conservative’s attention. Any systemic impediment becomes something to merely “bootstrap” yourself over, and what the conservative thinks as a kind of fatherly “tough love” that’s meant to encourage you is really just a form of detachment and neglect to not be weighed down by you.

Mike, I’m an expert software developer, and the AI tools definitely can and do create good code and can even solve problems inline in the context of a bigger program even across repositories. It sounds like you are just copying and pasting bits of generated code into your larger program. But the tools now can actually work inside your program. They can also give you complex answers to queries about the nature of sections of code or even whole programs. I agree with you that you need to diff the changes but that’s much quicker than writing it yourself. The… Read more »

AI will never replace developers. 99% of existing code is absolute archaic trash caked in tribal knowledge and AI will never be able to infer what the reasoning behind it is. AI will just become a steroid infused version of boilerplate/autocomplete. It may be able to for the myriad of repos in GitHub that AI can walk and learn from, but AI is not crawling proprietary 70 year old systems of banks and insurance companies and governments that rely entirely on internal documentation and passed down experience to understand their patchwork of systems. AI will replace the six month code-boot-camp… Read more »

You don’t know what you’re talking about. Modern banks don’t run off 70 year old code. 70 years old is 1955. And they don’t run off of 30 or even 20 year old code either. These are modern efficient corporations with actual smart people doing engineering and running them. Also, nobody said AI can magically explain the purpose of business logic just by reading code. What AI does is explain what code does in technical terms: how the input turns into the expected output. Asking AI to explain that is much quicker than reading hundreds of lines of code yourself… Read more »

Leftists talking about how “workers must control the means of production” and “overthrowing the capitalist billionaire ruling class” is just their version of “Eat, Pray, Love” or “Live, Laugh, Love”. It’s just a meaningless cliche platitude catch phrase for them to signal they’re “on the right side of history much like “black lives matter” or “Love is Love”.

I think Trump’s barking about Canada and Greenland might actually have some bite to it. The recent shakeup at Bilderberg and with Trump’s good friend now heading it I think we might be in for some major changes across the western world. As Putin has alluded to in interviews when asked about his thoughts on global warming and he jokingly said I’m more concerned about global cooling. We also see these different blocks winterizing their military’s and building up their ice breaker fleets. GPT-4o1 does write pretty good code and can debug complex applications sometimes. I use it every day for a fairly complex application in production for a high revenue company in a field that is relatively complex.

I expect this capability to substantially scale, though, as it’s just not good enough for now.

every state is an oligarchy, all oligarchies have a forming component, usually ethnic self-aware or not. therefore we should introspect the oligarchies leading ethnic component always, theres no communist or capitalist etc system, theres a oligarchy and its biomorals and other such inherent interests, all ideology/mythology is a thin veil covering this, once it is swept aside the oligarch stands alone on its nature, which the jewish system can not. the only meaningful oddity aside of this to notice is wether the oligarchy is a puppet of a larger oligarchy, ’empire’, or is the head of it, or is truly… Read more »

I agree there is oligarchy everywhere and an ethnic component to it, but don’t kid yourself about capitalism. If such a system was not so heavily relied upon by all oligarchies to fragment our people and fry their brains and exploit their labour, I would not hesitate to call it a red herring. But capitalism is a systemic problem. It may not be the root of the problem, but it is a significantly large enough branch of the tree that if cut off would expose huge lies about how our system has operated for so long under these neoliberal shibboleths.

i see it mostly as just another obfuscation system tactic, it lays the authority all around little frontmen with bad incentives, which itself are created by its other branches media and mythology etc. it simply makes it more difficult to argue for wresting control from the oligarchs because they can deflect it a bit, like a school of fish with camouflage doing a blinding pattern movement. it is in my view beyond this latest trick not that greatly important, if tommorow the economy turned into a socialized system with clear corporate boards or whatever nothing would change, it would run… Read more »

Oh you are completely right. I think we’re making the same point but differently. I’m saying capitalism is a useful tool used by the oligarchy to individualise everybody to prevent collective thoughts and action, hence why I think it is necessary to expose it. But yes, this is ultimately a tool to obfuscate the faces behind the curtains of financial/political/media power and disempower a sense of ‘the people’ in the host nations. They’re not systems in the sense that everybody, including the rulers themselves, obey the tenets and principles of capitalism because that’s absurd and surrenders all critical analysis to… Read more »
