Yes they made apt pupil a movie and I’m pretty sure that in apt pupil Ian McKellan played the nazi and the young actor who played the boy was molested during filming and later committed suicide. I think there was a lawsuit. But I’d have to look to verify and I’m just gonna assume it was Jews and I remember correctly.

Every other celestial body we’ve observed is spheroid and we can show the Earth is spheroid using comparative measurements of shadow lengths at different latitudes. The empirical evidence for sphere Earth is fairly strong and consistent. Flat earth rests entirely upon inconsistent anecdotal observations.
I can tell the Moon and planets of this system are spheres, I can observe the Sun as a sphere. Hell, if the Earth was flat, we would never not see the Sun, we wouldn’t observe it rise and set, it would appear to grow and shrink based on its approach and retreat over our location. Same with the Moon and every other observable heavenly body.
Science and empricism rest on philosophical assumptions, the primary being that humans are capable of objective observation of reality.
