They are still recovering from Helene – they had lots of flooding in Tampa and St. Petersburg, lots of water damage and beachfront communities have sand heaped up on their streets like snow banks in winter up north. Been reading Rick Pearlstein’s Reagan book cause the Nixon one was pretty good, and yeah Jews were on the ground for Vietnam (Paul Nitze and Rostow brothers notable).
