I apologize for my take that the Jews could have hacked the pagers. I have rethought this and now I think not only is this not true, I feel dumb for having bought it. They could not have created a consistent effect across thousands of pagers like that. Far more likely they intercepted a shipment of pagers and rigged them.
I think people are burying the lead: pagers still exist.
They do not interfere with and, (more important), are not interfered with by medical equipment such as CT, MRI scanners, etc. and as such are more reliable than any other available way of communication except landline.

The Motorola and other major english brands I can find seem to run on pretty small batteries; often AA and AAA on some, or small rechargable ones (~2.7 volts, 600 mA) so I just can’t see such small batteries causing that level of mayhem. Big error by Mike on the last show. Dominicans are barely mixed with natives. They are far more mixed with Africans. The average Dominican only has 5-10% native DNA. The rest is roughly evenly split between West African and European DNA. Almost all Dominicans are black or mixed. The overwhelming majority of Caribbean natives were wiped out by disease.
