Regarding “leather” pants, putting aside the aesthetic, actual quality top-grain leather which most people don’t interact with in furniture/clothing/etc. is much different than vinyl plastic and wouldn’t really have a breathability issue.

The crow comic was based on creator James O’Barr losing his fiancée to a drunk driver and him reading about a couple murdered for their 10-20 dollar ring. It was a very personal expression of grief that became a big movie with a solid lead who imo died too young (should’ve been Shannon Lee). The franchise as a whole is bigger than the character of Eric Draven.
I often misplace the soundtrack music for Lost Boys as belonging to this movie, which is funny since the The Crow’s soundtrack was supposed to be pretty lit. Or was that Spawn? Can someone please sort out these teenage media classics about revenge against evil for me?!
