People probably avoid the video player because at least for me it often crashes when you pause it and restart it, and lose your position in the player.

As a video game enjoyer- I have no illusions about it being anything but entertainment- and I want my entertainment to not be Jewish. Also retro games will always be superior. Sven is spot on about old games being oriented around creating a frustrating challenge that you get pissed off at and leave and come back to later. Now they’re designed to make you as addicted as possible and don’t really challenge you. The only modern games that still abide by this design philosophy are the souls and souls like games.

I had a period from age 17-25 where I felt video games were a waste of time and I couldn’t care less. I guess I got over it by realizing the real world doesn’t have much more substance.
That’s probably the most important time of your life to not waste playing videogames nonstop, so it worked out

I got two shots of the vax, admittedly, I felt super ill and unwell after the vaccine. But on the other hand I also was extremely sick prior to the vaccine when I caught Covid. I don’t know if there is some crazy kill weapon in the vaxx, but if it is meant to kill me, it hasn’t worked yet

It’s important to note that there are gamers that buy and play the latest trending games like their going out of fashion. And then are the ones who rarely buy current and only play select games that they have collected over the years, over and over again.
I find it hard to believe that many of our guys would be the former, but I guess I am cheap.

Well with gaming. There are people who just but a single player game, finish the game and move on. But there are types of games that should just be outlawed because of the addictive nature; and creates bad habits.
