I think the copy of this episode of NIGR I pirated is missing the DK audio track. At first I thought it was a cool directorial choice to simulate Louis talking to himself

While the gameplay wasnt even all that compelling when it was released in 1997, Quake 2 and it’s expansions still have the greatest soundtracks of all time. Brothers and I played through the coop rerelease last year and it was mindless fun. The new episode that it came with is a fun and challenging change of pace. Just don’t see Dark Forces as worth it even at it’s sale price, but man we played the hell out of JK and the expansion Mysteries of the Sith, and later JK2 and Jedi Academy with it’s insane multiplayer lightsaber duels. Why is even getting a download prompt taking all eternity?
Louis, about the whole ukrainian government doing nothing for the people and requiring legitimacy to draft etc… I dont know if you ever came across it, the military beauracrats and officers extract the monthly stipends of soldiers by selling rifles and ammo to the soldiers. Any supplies frontline infantry require are monetized. That kind of outrage & blatant corruptuion destroy morale and legitimacy.

It’s been years since I’ve played a game other than Minecraft bc poor, controllers are superior than mouse and keyboard for platformers, shooters, and action games in general if you learned on controller. It’s probably just bro science but, if I had to guess, it’s something about the brainal pathways that get developed early on in life in that regard

Jedi Academy is a great game. Every level has a theme to it that offer enough variety for it to be a blast all the way to the end.
I had forgotten this until I replayed it a few years ago. Child me never realized how well designed the game was, Only that it was fun to play.
