I can come up ways to explain why they feel that food these days are fake, one explanation that because of mass farming depleted the environment the nessesary nutrients in the plant cycle that deemed nessesary and replaced by artificial fertilizer and pesticides, therefore the nutrient value is degraded compared to farming before the industrial revolution.
Another explanation is that the Weimerican ‘people’ don’t know how to cook a meal because they buy it processed in a almost daily basis or doesn’t have the time to do it because they work in three wagie cagie nigger infested jobs these days.

To be fair eating healthy is intentionally expensive now. Unless you’re going to eat white rice and chicken every night, and a salad with no dressing or toppings….
