I feel that tinge of bitterness Moike. Being hard and first sucks. We took the punishment and now it’s ramping back up and others take the glory for something they didn’t start. I’m very happy it’s happening- but it’s hard to not have any sour grapes about it.

I’m a Jethro Tull enjoyer myself but if I were choosing a track for last night’s Randbot stream I would have made a different choice — something from Aqualung or Songs from the Wood, or just play one of their concept albums like Thick as a Brick or The Minstrel in the Gallery.

The Ny/NJ Hard Core scene during the 90’s with bands like Mad Ball or Nailbomb basically turned white people into Niggers I know a few guy who were into that scene who later I found out went off on drug fueled murder, deadbeat dads. Hard-core drug addiction pre-Sackler.

This may not be a popular opinion on here but I tried listening to Randbot’s show last night and I can’t believe Mike has the patience for him. I couldn’t listen past 10 minutes, even being a fan of Moik
nah, it’s a popular opinion. I think some of the more small brained in our sphere put it on as background noise when they run out of content. That’s about it. It’s pretty unlistenable and has gotten significantly worse over the last few years.
He ruined the Shoah when they brought him on last time and he got drunk. He gets really emotional and won’t stop talking, but if you talk over him he gets all mad and starts playing music and won’t let anyone else talk. It’s really gay.
He’s a good guy though.

Voivod is one of those “weird for the sake of being weird” bands. They kind of did the cyberpunk thing before it was cool. They did a cool version of Pink Floyd’s Astronomy Domine.
