Trespass, Nursery Cryme are up there too, Foxtrot is mostly good. Lamb Dies Down on Broadway (which I think is the only one Sven has listened to) obviously was the reason why the split from Gabriel happened haha, not a great album, but, In The Cage is a good song.

Maybe it falls into David Byrne’s weirder stuff, but Dance on Vaseline really slaps

yeah that’s probably his best song. Chickenfoot do a good cover version of Highway Star – basically a supergroup-cover band

Probably the first time I ever listened to a Borzoi podcast was in 2016 or 17 when he and the guy from the Fatherland (I think) did a Poz Button on David Byrne’s True Stories. It was really interesting but is probably lost to time
P.S. There was an episode of ATHF that guest starred Chickenfoot. It sucked and so did they

So Mike would rather waste all that beautiful summer sunshine toiling away work all day? In the Summer under daylight savings you have so much extra time to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
Sven off topic but watch The Iron Hand about the Von Erichs. Extremely White movie. You know their story, but this rendition does a very good job portraying it.

This Mike Benz interview was even more interesting than The Tucker Putin interview. I’ll do my own research on the Atlantic Council in the future maybe even try my own deep dive on Bang sometime this week.

I have a nostalgic love for the entire Joe’s Garage album that Zappa did. Quality or not. But Camarillo Brillo is an absolute fucking banger. Even though I think it’s about banging a black hippy broad.
Vai was a student of Satriani’s, but they were both pretty young. It’s a fun story.
“Selling England by the Pound” was a quality album. I respect Svenpai, but I will fight over this.

I’d say just enjoy seasonal changes – although arguably the clock changes make them more jarring I guess
Peak Peter Gabriel cringe is “Jung in Africa”, a painful exemplar of the self-important-songs-about-Africa 80s music subgenre: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NbNkkmbMM0o

Hell yeah I have to watch that. Thanks for the reminder!

Jewish Princess will always be hilarious. And you gotta hand it to FZ for flat-out telling the ADL no when they demanded an apology.
Pay-per-view music was Jukebox Network in the early 90’s.
I remember a cable channel called “The Box” or was that Jukebox Network under a different name?
The transcription Vai did was of conversation between people, which would be really fucking weird if transcribed to an instrument.
Buttrock is gay
What is buttrock? Godsmack? Alter Bridge?
Whatever bands were talked about in this episode
Talking Heads is good though
I believe it is spelled muumuu.
Not more music BS please
I got bad news for you.
You can please some of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time.
Frank Zappa isn’t music
Jesses number one guy reporting for duty 😆
