Can’t comment on the last episode for some reason so I’ll comment here instead – re the tax cuts “benefiting everyone”, that’s probably true. Because of how our tax system works, changes to the lower end brackets benefit everyone above that bracket. The way it has been reported has been very frustrating to me as an accountant because it’s made things very confusing for the layman. People earning over $200k aren’t taxed at 45%, every dollar earned over $200k is taxed at 45%.
