Yeah it is just another half finished openworld crafting game that will never be completed.
Nothing special about it that makes it stands out against the other 1000s early access cash-ins.

Really good episode, I have to stop and scrub back a lot though because if you space out for like 10 seconds Louis has gone three tangents deeper from his primary topic.

I live in the mountains – small town. The remnants of a hippy community just south of town did a “march” for a “cease fire” and all that the other day. The pictures showed about 20 people walking down a road in the middle of bumfuck nowhere with signs and stuff. Nothing all that based. Certainly a few well-off kikes involved. The facebook discourse leading up to the event was getting hairy (like most things do in this particular area’s “groups”) with a boomer pointing out that “Muslims were dancing in the streets during 9/11!” and asking why they were… Read more »

People overestimate the impact that aircraft carriers would have in a proper war, the use case theory for tactical nukes is to obliterate armored columns and tank battalions, and so with how much more force is concentrated in an aircraft carrier fleet they are sitting targets for the sun
Best of all, a carrier strike group is a 100% military target on the open ocean with zero potential for collateral damage. I wouldn’t be able to resist the urge to nuke it.
I envision the try-hard CNN & MSNBC headlines built upon “muh marine wildlife damage” and “muh [marginally detectable] fallout”.
I do not really believe that this is much of a strategy for big players. Russia and China have hypersonic capabilities which can achieve the same results with much less escalation and diplomatic hazard. Meanwhile, America already has sea dominance. Basically I don’t see why you would need such a weapon for a relatively simple job that a (high tech) conventional one could achieve.

Hey DK or Louis can you add the comments email to the show description?
Here’s some criticism, extend the 5 minutes of reasonable mic discipline into the whole show

Louis is my spirit animal. A few days ago I questioned the idea that Iran can order the Houthis to blockade the red sea. The Houthis did not become the government of Yemen by a coup, They fought a bloody war over it, this gives them a lot of gravitas and it gave them a lot of capability too. Which means they are going to be inherently much more independent then the Zelensky regime in Ukraine for example. At least that is what my thought about it was, Nice to have someone as knowledgeable as Louis back me up on… Read more »
I hate to sound degenerate, but maybe a couple of shots of bourbon before the show would smooth out the haltering delivery a little bit?
