Pure nitrogen gas (i.e. just not getting any oxygen) makes you get tired and then pass out. The choking and freaking out reaction comes from a buildup of carbon dioxide in your bloodstream, which doesn’t happen with nitrogen. He was probably just resisting because he knew he was going to die.

All that happens is that the subject falls asleep and after about 8 to 10 minutes the heart stops and the subject is dead. It’s actually relatively humane. Fun Fact: inert gas hypoxia is a legal form of suicide in the EU.
Eyewitness accounts said they witnessed the subject struggle in visible pain for an extended amount of time. They were anti DP activists who volunteered to witness the execution but no counter witness has come foreword to disagree.
I think inert gas execution works humanely on animals who don’t know what is happening and fall asleep but a human who knows what’s going on is going to suffer and struggle because they know what’s going on.
The prisoners hold their breath and act out as soon as the gas is turned on. Fritz Berg used to call this “execution theater.” Historically, prisoners were made to wear a hood for a reason. That is not how they euthanize domestic animals/pets anymore. It is incredibly inhumane. A large dose of pentobarbital and fentanyl is used to euthanize dogs, cats, horses, ect.

I don’t think carbon monoxide has ever been used to put domestic animals down other than by generating it with gasoline engines, and that doesn’t work very well and is probably illegal in most states.
They tried doing this in Idaho in 1981-82 during the jackrabbit cull because Libtards were upset that the farmers were clopping them on the heads with a piece of iron pipe. Bad optics. Both gasoline and diesel engines were tried, per Holocaust TV, but it did not work.
