I find it odd that Christians who believe in a Jewish Messiah and believe in the Torah wish to claim that Christianity is somehow not rooted in the same thing which Judaism is also rooted. Believe it or not, there are actually very few surnames that are strictly jewish. The great majority are appropriated or modified gentile names…even the SUPER jewy sounding “berg” and “stein” type surnames. Those red flag names really just became known as obvious chicken swinger names in the US(I think).
