I looked up FNAF and the creator seems like a very sympathetic guy. A Christian family man who lucked into a 100 million dollar franchise. Borzoi’s last comments really hit home, I guess that means I am Extremely Online. I watched Nostalgia Critic reviews of cultural icons instead of the movies themselves (I continue to eagerly anticipate Poz Button’s resurrection). I haven’t watched him or any big name youtubers for years now. I dread to think of what these “people” have become, and I’m kind of scared to look. It would probably shatter the vague comforting memories I made growing up on that kind of content, preserved in a kind of mental amber.

I still remember getting my first game ever, Carmen Sandiego, on a 360k 5.25″ floppy. Still have it somewhere I think, although it’s probably unreadable now even if I had a drive.
What’s crazy is the company that made that game franchise (Broderbund) still somewhat exists today, though in name only, and sells calendar creator software like it’s 1998. Even Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing is still in the product catalog. How is this even still real?
