Cops, firefighters and even Teachers are all paid well. Starting salary as a cop is about the national median plus a bonus, every benefit imaginable and pension. McNabb is right, firefighters rarely have to work and usually just function as handymen, while getting paid nearly as much as cops. It’s a role that needs to be reconsidered from a civics perspective. Teaching is a grift because they make almost as much as cops (the national avg is 60k), have summers + school holidays off, and would have a super easy gig if it weren’t for brown kids disrupting class…

Some college classes weren’t unlike study hall. You get relatively minimal instruction (usually going over a chapter from a textbook), you get the work, and your classmates & your book are your primary resources (or teacher assistants in larger classes). There were other classes where you get homework and the majority of class the following day was discussing classwork. Occasionally in college (particularly science) you will experience overlap between subjects where math is concerned. I’ve skipped out many classes where they were teaching something I already knew.
Same. I didn’t work full-time when I was a student so with that, half of classes could be passed as long as you didn’t have a learning disability. The other half were evenly split: easy-easy ones that could be occasionally skipped and the hard ones where the professors actually had standards, or assigned an above-average amount of work.

Pea Fowl are more noble than chickens and can hold their own with foxes. As of now only wild turkeys roost on my property. Alex most Fire departments are now ALS providers even if they do not transport patients. My department has ALS engines and ALS ambulances which treat patients on scene and also transport patients. Nearly every state with the notable exceptions of Virginia, Georgia, Alabama, and parts of Pennsylvania, Louisiana, North Carolina have combined Fire/EMS systems.
