Did the same thing, This was after I had recovered from it. There was no mystery about me having it or not, the people I got it from had already confirmed it.
So it was just all a complete waste of time for everyone involved.

Trimming nose hair is best practice. Pulling nose hair can cause nasal infection.

i always get the ‘ridge’ on the fold inside my nostril. i fight with that fucking thing, bc i also have no fingernails. gotta hold a finger tip on it until the booger sticks to my finger and i can pull it out.
