Just watch this. I used to have one of those indoor air conditioners. I sat it on a microwave stand and had a full sized garbage pail next to the thing and it would fill up. within 12 hours.

Sven’s probably going to get mad at me for suggesting this, but running a small/medium-sized dehumidifier in your home is great. I do it 24/7 here in Florida. You have to, of course, empty out the reservoir a couple tikes a day, or run a drain line. The constant removal of moisture over time can only be a good thing.

Yeah I was active on several PC related forums for a while and those types eventually just made me quit. There was always the guy that had to post in every thread and contradict or well akshually the rest. And it always ended with 5 pages of another person debating him, instead of answering the question.
Like someone would ask for parts for an AMD build and then he’d argue how Intel was better for pages and pages. Then onto the next thread where he did the same.
It was a sight to behold.

Avoid forums for connector wiring opinions/how to – just do a Google image search.
For the record though tip is always signal, sleeve is always ground – that is same with TRS (a heh), you just add an extra signal pin to ring etc.

If your AC unit isnt a window unit, such as mikes rolling style one with the hose and water collection bin, all you need to do to manage dehumidification without turning the house into an ice box is pull off the exhaust hose such that the unit exhausts into the house. Thats the only difference between AC and a typical dehumidifier in a technical sense.
You could do the same thing with a window unit sitting on a table in a room assuming you had something to collect the condensation, which on those typically just drips outside.
