Hearing gay country made me support violence against anyone, everyone.
James and Moike keep talking about neofolk music but that has a very different meaning especially in our circles. It is not some variety of country music; neofolk is the folky dark industrial post-punk music scene that developed around bands like Death in June, Current 93, Sol Invictus etc.
Neofolk was very gay though, or at least Death in June/Douglas Pearce is, though the gayness is subtle/implied, not blatant like this gay country music which sounds satirical but nowadays one can’t assume satire in such matters.
So yeah Douglas Pearce, gay Nazi who supports Ukraine; Greg Johnson is a fan.
I was able to be an HOA Karen here for years. I got rid of a LOUD ex-con Negro, a gaggle of screaming queens and some thoroughly ghetto Lahdeenos. Those awful songs at the beginning of hour two were so viscerally upsetting to me that I had to stop and listen to Waylon Jennings for a half an hour to cleanse my pallet. Whenever a genre becomes that gay and boring you know that it’s nearing it’s end. RIP country music.

His normal music under Jake Hill is good, kind of reminds me of some of the ourguy rap songs. My cope is that he’s grifting off the meme and if it’s not clear, he’s a straight guy making gay songs either because he thinks it’s funny, grifting, but more likely both. I really wish we had a guy like this in our thing, his style fits.
I looked up “Dixon Dallas” and there were articles that referred to “questions” about his sexuality. Which is strange given the unambiguously gay lyrics. I wouldn’t be surprised if the guy’s straight.
You know what’s exhausting? Knowing that whenever I have to interact with a government agency, the healthcare industry, or a financial institution, I will have to deal with at least one suitcase-handle-lipped frizzy-haires sheboon smacking her fucking lips and sucking her teeth as I explain things to her that someone doing her fucking job should have as basic knowledge, only for her to then insist that I’m wrong, while I can only pray that somewhere up the chain of command there’s someone who is capable of reading their own organization’s webpage and it’s not just niggers all the way up.
