I think climate change is probably real, at the very least to a degree that it has always been happening, but it is not as catastrophic as the doomsayers claim. The big utility that the narrative has is in justifying global anti-white policies from stealing wealth to antinatalism to “climate refugees”. The climate on Earth has been changing for as long as Earth as been around. Humans damaged the O-zone layer, but the O-zone is fine now. There’s never been any actual evidence that the earth getting a few degrees warmer or colder on average is devastating for the Earth or humanity. In fact, humans attempting to keep the climate exactly where it is, isn’t necessarily natural.

On electric trucks: it seems to work with small ones in any case. I know a guy who owns a Maverick and it gets like 45 mpg on average. It’s a bit long because the cab is actually usable and it has a 4 or 5 foot bed which is enough for most people. You can haul a pallet of sod with it for example, at the upper limit of the capacity range.. If you want to haul longer stuff… get a ladder rack.

I tried capitalist competition in a small town. I used to live in a place with two power companies using the same lines and it was a goddamn nightmare. Frequent outages for long periods and they would both blame each other. We regularly went 12-24 hours without power after a storm because neither company maintained the trees to prevent outages or got in a hurry to fix downed lines. It was a major reason I moved from there. A monopoly would have been way better.
We have a power company monopoly and they don’t maintain the lines either. Instead they shut the power off during inclement weather.
Regulated monopoly, or straight up government ownership is better. If it is a private monopoly and effectively unregulated then they only do things that are in the best interests of their stockholders, not electricity users, so they cut corners to save money, don’t trim trees, etc.
