Russia’s influence in Europe has weakend since the start of the war, economic relationship (and therefore Russian leverage) has significantly decreased. That’s why since February 2022 Hungary has been drifting towards the Republicans. Being in the US sphere of influence is like being in the Soviet Union, membership is not a question of choice.

Sports stadiums in the USA and Canada have been totally cashless for several years now; they were starting to go cashless a few years prior to Covid and I guess Covid was a good excuse to go all in on cashless.
The stadium tickets are electronic too; you can’t even print out your tickets, you have to have the ticket on your smartphone. I don’t know if it’s even possible to be a sportsball fan nowadays if you don’t have a smartphone.
You are automatically asked for a tip for all of these cashless transactions now too which is annoying.
Only time I go to a Sportsball game is if my boss gives me company tickets.

The population boom in the 50s/60s in Asia was a result of the agricultural revolution that took place there. The improvement in farming lead to industrialization afterwards. Those countries in Asia are big agricultural exporters today. India is a net exporter of agricultural goods. I don’t get this view of the world being a lot less advanced than it is in reality. The biggest issue those countries have is inequality. With Sub-Saharan Africa being an outlier. Most countries are able to achieve a minimum of an industrialized economy of some sort.
I’ve always viewed the “third world” as black and brown countries. Personally I dont view asians (japanese, chinese, koreans only) as third worlders even though they once lived in third world situations. Their higher IQ would eventually lead towards productive societies. Whereas with black and brown (africa, india, south america, browner asian countries), would never achieve greatness without massive white influence.
We can co exist with East Asians as they are capable of an advanced civilization. That’s obvious to anyone with eyes. The rest? Impossible.
