My understanding is that most of the syphilitic study participants had “latent” syphilis by the time penicillin was available. It’s doubtful that anyone was seriously harmed. Compare that to Covid-era systemwide policies that denied Whites critical medical care, and it’s not even close.

The issue was that niggers at the time did not believe that they could even get syphilis so they would not even go to the doctor to get checked if the symptoms came up. The main legal requirements for something to be called bourbon is at least 51% corn mash and made somewhere in the U.S. There’s some other technical shit, too, but I’m not a whiskey nerd.

Tennessee whiskey is made in Tennessee using the Lincoln County Process which is basically charcoal filtering.
Bourbon can be made anywhere in the USA, not just in Kentucky.
That’s US law; however US law only applies in the USA; if a distillery in a foreign country wanted to call their product a bourbon, I’m not sure if legally there would be anything to stop them.
Apparently if there’s trade agreements, other countries will respect the classification of Bourbon as a strictly made in USA product.
