I like to think that songs like small town create some kind of scarecrow affect for urbanites, hopefully stopping them from feeling uncomfortable to move or visit out here. Let’s keep the threat of lynching alive whether it’s real or not.
I work retail in a small town and it doesn’t, and won’t stop shitskins I moved out here to get away from several years ago. The reaction the ruralite townies have to the slow, but steady invasion is to welcome their destruction or literally pretend it isn’t happening.

Small town whites are soft. I went from a major city to a small town and its insane the shit i see here all the time. The “tough” guys are wiggers. Alot of the white people here are living in a bubble.
My experience is the opposite. I see Whites get bullied by minorities in the city then in a small town outside my city a black guy got his face smashed in to a water fountian for trying bully white people there. But everyone has different experiences.
I think it depends on the racial make up in said small town, the small town im living in is like over 95% white and the blacks are a tiny minority and most are old. I can definately see a sub 60% white small town creating alot more tough whites. The town I live in we had less than half a dozen niggers when I moved, and a couple handfuls of mexicans. Now we have a few more mexicans, the surrounding area is much heavier populated with them, especially one of the “bigger” towns with a grocery store. The chicken washing coonmunity is still relatively small, but at least triple what it was.
