I have a few games that I keep coming back to, and almost everything new that I see is just entirely unappealing. A lot of people my age haven’t walked away from gaming as a hobby, they’re just very selective with what they consoom.
Gaming is just as jewed as movies and television, but the communities around it (as you guys have covered) are even worse, filled to the brim with trannies and outcasts/permanently online people. It also has even more predatory capitalist practices aimed at children and manbabies than other mediums do.
I was still doing some raiding in WoW until i couldnt contain my disdain i had for them and their awful fucking takes on everything, and let go a few antisemetic comments. They proceeded to not only kick me, they made sure through their gay little discord servers i could never join another guild again through blacklisting. The gayming community is utterly dead to me. Food is also grown more or less “locally”. Rice fields, and other produce is grown immediately on the outskirts of large cities even closer than my exurb/rural farming town. All we grow out here is corn and soy as is the Amurrican way unfortunately. It’s literally a food desert out here worse than anything niggers can complain about. In Minneapolis I could bike, or if I really had to (avoided at all costs) take the bus to get fresh vegetables and meat with little effort. I was just thinking about this; saw a news report about how the USDA is feeding niglets in the Little Rock ghettos 2 healthy meals a day. Poor White kids in rural areas don’t get shit. I haven’t bought a Call of Duty/ Battlefield since Black Ops II. The novelty of the campaign mode wore off. The simplicity and repetitive gameplay of going through the single player mode was boring and made you feel stupid.
The first one had you shoot germans, it was bad from the start.
I’ve never played a campaign on one of those. I played death match exclusively until coming in first and second every round using the automatic pistol and melee against everyone using rifles lost all sense of challenge. My last experience with the franchise was around the same time.
I haven’t had time for games in a decade since I started raising kids.
