It was absolutely a mandate for government employees to be “vaccinated” until yesterday, at least in states where the Governor required it. I know, because I was applying for jobs and this was in the requirements. It was also a barrier to going to college (I also tried to go back, but couldn’t) and masks were strictly enforced in these states (the police were literally driving around making sure it was enforced). I obviously live in a liberal hell hole.

It was literally a requirement for even remote jobs I was applying to at the time. Saying it wasn’t actually required or there was no pressure to get vaxxed just doesn’t mesh with what most people saw and experienced at all.
