Fuck man, spine injuries make me shiver. Done a lot of reading lately about herniated discs and spondylolisthesis (when two vertebrae slip out of alignment) after incurring a mysterious and persistent injury of my own.
Did you get the fusion or the total disc replacement? Or was it a sort of otomy (facet, lamina, foramina, etc.) I hope it was not an -otomy, they have a high risk of needing a fusion surgery to stabilize the spine. One reason the T spine is rarely imaged is it doesnt usually sustain major trauma, also if the numbness (radiculopathy) is happening in the lower part of the legs, traditional neurology indicates the nerve root irritation is in the lumber spine.
