Fiancé and I watched season 1 and half of 2 of New Amsterdam. Aside from the gay psych and occasional lesbian couple patient, it wasn’t that bad. I do recall the psych affirming a trans kid also.
Everything progressively gets worse into season 2. Worse writing, janky melodrama, more minority worship, already unlikely medical practices get more unrealistic.
People online have noted that it gets terminally libtarded into season 3 and beyond, and they even kill off some main characters. 3/10, wouldn’t recommend.
