I think that it’s essential to understand the difference between a Traditional Community and a Liberal Society, or as the Germans put it, a Gemeinschaft vs a Gesellschaft. A Gemeinschaft is an organic community which the individual members serve, whereas a Gesellschaft is a voluntary organization of individuals which is designed to serve the interests of its individual members. Essentially the one is based on the Liberal Social Contract and the other is based Traditional Blood and Soil loyalties.
